R C E P : Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership ( Partenariat régional en Asie avec la Chine )

Le Partenariat régional économique global (RCEP) est entré en vigueur samedi 1er janvier 2022. Ce traité entre dix pays d'Asie et du Pacifique autour de la Chine devient l'accord commercial le plus important au monde en termes de produit intérieur brut.

30% de la population mondiale, 30% du PIB. Selon la presse d'État chinoise, le Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) devrait rapidement former la plus grande zone de libre-échange de la planète.

Dix pays sont déjà de la partie : Australie, Brunei, Cambodge, Chine, Japon, Laos, Nouvelle-Zélande, Singapour, Thaïlande, Vietnam.

Today, RCEP officially comes into force. Six ASEAN members of Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and four non-ASEAN members of China, Japan, New Zealand and Australia, officially began to implement the agreement.
