Implants cérébraux d'interfaces neuronales : Brain Computer Interface (BCI)

La technologie des implants cérébraux continue de s'améliorer.

La dernière percée dans le domaine a été réalisée jeudi en Australie où une puce cérébrale a permis à un homme paralysé de publier un tweet "en utilisant uniquement sa pensée".

La puce a été développée par la startup américaine d'implants cérébraux Synchron, qui considère ce tweet comme « le premier tweet par la pensée directe ».

Avec cette prouesse, Synchron accentue la concurrence avec Neuralink d'Elon Musk, qui a annoncé dernièrement l'implant des puces Neuralink sur des humains à partir de l'année prochaine.
